Call for testing - pulsemixer

Description

pulsemixer is a command line tool for managing audio devices. Think of it as alsamixer for pulseaudio.

It’s quite pretty!

How to install

snap install pulsemixer

Edit: Removed --beta tag as it’s no longer required.

Requested Setups

I’ve tested this so far on x86_64 Ubuntu 16.04 and 17.10. I’ve published both x86_64 and armhf (pending review) snaps, but not tested on arm devices.

Specific tests

The upstream docs have a bunch of options to try out!

This is now in the stable channel! Thanks everyone!

You can now install it with:

snap install pulsemixer

great idea,

but i have one problem with this: if i hit F2, input
and change back to F1 output, i get the Help page …

Yes, that’s unfortunately a problem with the terminal eating the F1 keypress. If you use a different terminal which doesn’t eat that keypress it doesn’t happen. e.g. try using xterm. Alternatively, use the TAB key to switch between the three modes.
