Call for testing Musescore 2.3.2

Hey everyone.

MuseScore 2.3.2 snap is now in the candidate channel for amd64 & i386 archs:

sudo snap install musescore --channel=candidate

sudo snap refresh musescore --channel=candidate

Some interfaces need to be connected manually:

sudo snap connect musescore:cups-control
sudo snap connect musescore:network-manager
sudo snap connect musescore:alsa

But most of the application functionality works without them.

If you’re a user of the application or even if you just want to poke at it, I’d love some help putting it through its paces! Please let me know if you run into any issues.

I can confirm my simple sheet music loads and works as it always has done.

Thanks for the testing @Wimpress! Version 2.3.2 has been promoted to the stable channel!

I am getting the following error when I start MuseScore from the command line. In spite of this error, MuseScore seems to start ok.

donald@donald-VirtualBox:~$ musescore.mscore
Qt: Session management error: None of the authentication protocols specified are supported
initScoreFonts 0x221eda0

I would be grateful if you could advise me if there is something I need to do to avoid this error or if it is safe to ignore it.

I have an application which generates MIDI files and I am planning to be able to open MuseScore from within my application with a generated MIDI file as input.

As far as I know this message is harmless.

As @Lin-Buo-Ren stated I would say that those are harmless.
