I would like to announce a call for testing for the GRC’s DNS Benchmark snap. GRC’s DNS Benchmark is a unique, comprehensive, accurate & free utility to determine the exact performance of local and remote DNS nameservers.

How to install

Get it from the Snap Store

or, in a terminal:

# Install the snap #
sudo snap install --channel=beta dnsbench
#sudo snap install dnsbench

# Launch the application #
dnsbench

What to test

  • Can you properly launch the application?
  • Can you properly run a benchmark test?
  • (Other things you want to test.)
  • Do you notice any problems during the running of the application?
