As proposed by the template provided by snapcrafters, I am now posting a call for testing for my newly created snap forSeriousSamClassic-VK
For build I used Debian 10/Mate. In it, I do not see desktop snap application files in the application menu. But desktop files are created correctly.
I happily accept any recommendations or corrections!

I rechecked the installation in Fedora 39 Workstation. desktop files install fine.
