Builds for i386 start failing after upgrading to "base: core20"

Hi there,

I recently received an email asking me to upgrade by snap to base: core20, but after doing it, only amd64 builds are working. i386 builds are failing. I have retried the build once with the same result.

How to best handle i386 when moving a snap to 'base: core20'

Hi, Existing snaps that produce i386 builds are supportable for the lifetime of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS or Ubuntu 18.04 LTS when using the core or core18 snaps as the base. Publishers who want to move to ‘base: core20’ must drop builds for the i386 architecture since it isn’t unavailable. This presents a problem for publishers whose core/core18 builds are using the latest track and they want to move latest to core20. Hi @adasiko,

I didn’t know Ubuntu 20 didn’t support 32-bits anymore. I’ll downgrade to core18 then.

But this is still a bit undesirable, because I only use the dump plugin for this app, so I think this shouldn’t break (it only downloads a precompiled binary from GitHub releases).

even the dump plugin requires the base: to be available … there is simply no core20 base snap anymore …
