Build simply gets stuck

I was managing to build Chromium fine with Snapcraft, but for no apparent reason it now gets stuck at random points of the build.

I remembered a similar problem that Launchpad build farm hit and solved it by moving back to LXD 5.0; I did so too, but to no avail.

The current “running” build is stuck since many hours ago:

It’s weird because upon giving up with Ctrl+C, nothing shows up (despite building with --verbosity=trace), and I’m pretty sure it did before.

The system has enough disk space:

I cannot open those linked logs, but see if there is a flag to increase the verbosity of the chromium build itself.

Hmm, I’ll see if there is one.

But I remembered, this is a issue Launchpad builders had too when they switched from LXD 4 to 5. I’ll also try that next time I build.
