I am very interested in the update frequency and policy for the Ubuntu Core base snaps. What drives the release cadence, is it regular, and how quickly does a release move through the risk channels.
In particular, is there a minimum time that a release must be in candidate before it moves to stable ?
How does this differ between Security and SRU ?
It was suggested I ping @sil2100 and @xnox - you may have some insight here

…but of course base is potentially quite different, as it’s made up of so many smaller package.
