it appears AutoDesk maya is supports linux but the install procedure is rather lengthy

i think this should be simpler to facilitate adoption as this could make more new users comfortable in using linux and perhaps encourage software to get to ported
Snap appears to be just a perfect fit for simplifying an install procedure like this, tho i have no idea what it will involve i am interested in seeing and maybe even help in getting this done
