Autoconnect request for personal-files for ccv-clip-manager snap

Hi all. I want to request autoconnect to personal files for ccv-clip-manager

  • name: ccv-clip-manager
  • description: Lightweight crossplatform clipboard manager
  • snapcraft: ccv/snapcraft.yaml at main · ansirotenko/ccv · GitHub
  • upstream: GitHub - ansirotenko/ccv: Copy paste manager
  • interfaces:
    • personal-files:
      • request-type: auto-connection
      • reasoning: Ccv application must stores all user clipboard history in ccv.db file at $HOME/.local/share/com.ansirotenko.ccv (default tauri data directory). In case remove/install scenario, ccv.db file must not be deleted. Also in scenario where application first time was installed using dpkg and after reinstalled using snap, also ccv.db file must be preserved. I have considered SNAP_USER_COMMON but it doesn’t fit to scenarios above.

The remove/install scenario takes place because refresh process doesnt update desktop or autostart configurations.

Best regards Andrei

+1 for auto-connecting write access to dot-local-share-com-ansirotenko-ccv given it is owned by the snap

Should I let to know Santa know about this post? I’ve been a good boy this year  Or Santa reads forum.snapcraft.io? Because I hope to get a gift for this year

The existing snap revisions are all marked as rejected in the store and I can’t seem to resubmit them for automated review - however if you upload a new revision with the approved plug definition then it should pass automated review. Thanks.
