[v] I understand that strict confinement is generally preferred over classic.

[v] I’ve tried the existing interfaces to make the snap to work under strict confinement.

Hey @rick.wu

Could you please point which supported category the snap fits in?

Thanks

Hi jslarraz,

I would said the category is “tools for local”, because we plan to use this snap to setup testing envinronment on x86 and arm platform. Please let me know if you have any concerns, thanks.

This snap appears to fit the existing category of debug tools etc and has the existing precedent of the checkbox etc snap to refer to as well.

As such, the requirements for classic confinement are understood. The publisher is already vetted. I have gone ahead and granted this and it is now live. Thanks.
