Auto-connection request for v2raya

Hello!

I’m developing snap for v2raya: https://snapcraft.io/v2raya

v2raya is a transparent proxy client which allows users to proxy all of their traffic through SOCKS5 or alike (similar to VPN, but a lot more versatile). A user may choose between two methods of tranparent tunneling. The first one utilizes iptables NAT rules, and the second one relies on the xt_TPROXY kernel module. Access to iptables rules can be granted via firewall-control, and access to tproxy is granted by network-control.

Hence, the request to auto-connect the following plugs, if that’s possible

  • firewall-control
  • network-control

You can take a look at snapcraft.yaml and build scripts on https:// github. com/v2rayA/v2raya-snap. If you want to learn more about the project, check out the official website https://v2raya.org/en/docs/prologue/quick-start/#start.

P.S. Sorry about the broken link, new users can only put 2 links in a post.

Any progress on that?

Apologies for the delay in reviewing this request - given the nature of the application and its description both of these seem like obvious and not surprising permissions for the application and they are required for normal functioning.

As such, +1 from me for auto-connect of firewall-control and network-control for v2raya.

Please, let me know if you need any additional information in order to review and auto-connect this snap

Ping @reviewers can you please vote on this request?

+1 from me too for auto connect of firewall-control and network-control for the v2raya snap - these interfaces are required for NAT rule creation and TPROXY access, which is expected for this kind of application.

+2 votes for, 0 votes against, granted auto-connect of firewall-control and network-control for v2raya. This is now live.
