In order to allow usage of hardware keys for two factor authentication out of the box, I’d like to request the automatic connection of u2f-devices for Thunderbird.
For context, this has already been granted for Firefox and Chromium.

This request has not been added to the review queue. It should be placed in the appropriate store-requests subcategory using the subcategory template for classic-confinement, privileged-interfaces and aliases requests.
The bot reply seems to indicate this needs to be categorized, presumably into privileged-interfaces. Can you do that @nteodosio, or is it intended for it to wait here?
