One of darktables features is to be able to import photographs from an SDCard, just as I in the past have requested for digikam. For a better experience I would like to request auto-connect.
darktable as a media management application fits within the guidelines for auto-connect of removable-media. Whilst the publisher (@sergiusens) is not the official upstream they do meet the criteria of:
- if the snap is published by someone other than upstream, the publisher must be vetted and either be an established committer to the upstream or the wider snap ecosystem
So +1 from me for auto-connect of removable-media for darktable.
+1 from me for auto-connect of removable-media, given darktable is a media application which requires access to import/edit/export files from external devices, and is an established/well-known application.
