The Nordic Thingy52 is an easy-to-use prototyping platform, designed to help in building prototypes and demos, built around the nRF52832 Bluetooth 5 SoC. I have a thingy52 snap which is purpose-built to connect to the Nordic Thingy52 and record data/interact with it, etc. via Bluetooth for development/demos/etc. The snap bundles in a small part of the bluez library to do this, and so needs bluetooth-control to interact over bluetooth with the device. The implementation is such that it does not use the bluez D-bus API at all, so I can’t use it with the bluez snap at all.
