Maybe post an update to the snap, punching people in the face with a zenity pointing people at another IDE like VSCode?
The snap is unlisted, but still has ~62K installs,
Personally I’d say it’s worth waiting for upstream to start notifying people en-mass first, as the blog post mentions “we’ll continue to inform Atom users of the sunset in the product”.
