Hi there
Since about May 1st 2025 (10 days now), the App Center showed the message “something went wrong” (under Manage).
Several times I tried the Retry button without success (even after restarting the machine).
I then tried Check status and landed on snapcraft.io where nothing wrong was notified.
I then tried to uninstall App Center 1.0.0 to reinstall it, but never found the right help to uninstall App Center.
I then registered to forum.snapcraft.io and received approbation last Wednesday.
I don’t really know to which topic I should park my question.
Can somebody help me find a way of solving that problem?
I’m using Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS on this machine (HP ProBook 455 G5) since October 2024 (about six months), and it’s the first time I have this message “something went wrong”.
Furthermore, I have been using Ubuntu for about 10 years now on several machines, and I don’t remember ever having a problem with the App Center (or how it was called back then) since then.
Thanks in advance for your help.
PS: Here below the System Details of my machine
