Alternate home folder locations

Hi there - on my work machine - we use AD integration, and our home folders are located in a non-standard location. When launching snaps for the first time - the app never launches. When running the snap at the CLI, you get the following:

dkrysak@drone ~> chromium
cannot create user data directory: /home/local/TERADICI/dkrysak/snap/chromium/237: Permission denied

or say:

dkrysak@drone ~> nextcloud-client 
cannot create user data directory: /home/local/TERADICI/dkrysak/snap/nextcloud-client/10: Permission denied

Would this be considered a bug?
