When first configuring the landscape-client on Ubuntu Core 22 (revision 175) you are asked to give the computer name/title for your device.
We found out that it doesn’t actually have to be unique; instead, the hostname needs to be.
Would you still recommend it to be unique? Should it just be the same guid we have as our hostname now? Or should it be the model name and nothign else? Or a combination of the two like suggested in the example (${model:7}-${serial:0:8}).
Also asking with regards to what is most future proof, when the bug is fixed.
