Hi folks, I’m using the open source financial manager “Portfolio Performance” for quite a long time now. But manual updates are quite a hassle on a regular basis (hence there is no ppa).
Thus I think a snap would be the best option for all users. Of course you have to regularly maintain the snap package…
Would it be possible to create a snap? (hence there is no ppa, dependencies to JDK) Is there a way to minimize maintenance? (The installation is pretty straight forward: download archive, move to somewhere you like, mark as executable, etc.)
So far I’ve never created a snap myself; I’ve just used the ones which are on the public repo
