A file updated by a snap is not getting reflected on another snap. Both snaps are connected through an interface exposing the folder where this edited file is

I have 2 snaps connected with an interface exposing the directory for example ‘config’. There is a file in the directory updated by a snap(slot) but the same details aren’t getting reflected on another snap(plug) Any thoughts would be appreciated!!
