0ad: please update latest/stable to version alpha 0.0.26

@oSoMoN The 0ad team released alpha 0.0.26 as stable. Can you please update “latest/stable” to the official stable release of alpha 0.0.26? This will help newer users who want to ensure they’re using the correct version for multiplayer compatibility.

AFAIK @oSoMoN isn’t involved with 0ad. That snap is handled by the upstream developers. See the support contact in the snap information:

publisher: Wildfire Games (play0ad✓)
store-url: https://snapcraft.io/0ad
contact: https://play0ad.com/community/support/

Also, it looks like 0.0.26 has not been announced yet, therefore they expect you to be using 0.0.25b for now unless you’re testing the next release. (see https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/ReleaseProcessDraft for details.) Note that 0.0.26 is published in latest/beta so you can use it from there if you want to skip the announcement.

Edit: Oh, I do see now that @oSoMoN is marked as the notification destination for packaging the snap on that procedure. Is that what you’re doing here?

I am indeed maintaining the snap on behalf of Wildfire Games.

Apologies for the delay. I was hoping to take advantage of this new release to put the finishing touches to a branch that upgrades the base to core22, but I got delayed by issues I found.

I have pushed an update to Alpha 26 that is still based on core18 (currently building) so that everyone can enjoy the latest version of their favourite game, it will be published to the store within the next couple of hours.

And I’ll continue to work on upgrading the base to core22 independently.
