uTube - is it safe from trackers?

Hello,

Google gathers user information. They have trackers, they have their own policy, the can pair me up with my gmail account back in the time when I had one.
YouTube is owned by Google.
I installed application uTube - https://snapcraft.io/utube - to be free from Google while still being able to watch youTube videos.
Question 1: does it protect me from their trackers?
Question 2: Does it make my YouTube experience more secure?

Hi, Utube app is safe and won’t let Youtube track you. There is no account required, plus all your searches goes through a proxy server so whatever you search within the app is never sent to Youtube.
