Ubuntu-Core Pi custom boot screen logo

Hi, I am new to the forum so still feeling my way around. I am trying to create a custom boot logo for my ubuntu-core pi but am not able to achieve it. Scoured the internet, went according to the guide on how-to step by step without results. Also tried a couple of github repos out there that did not work.

My snap is according to the requirements noted on the site in terms of splash folder at root, vendor as plymouth theme and everything else needed.

My question is, is there a working step by step guide out there on how to easily change the ubuntu logo to a custom one? (I have tried the one on the official site word for word without results)

Sidenote- I have created my own model. Signed it. Created the necessary custom snap with my own images. Built the ubuntu-image with my snap gadget. So all those steps were done successfully.

Kind regards
