Transfer of antigravity-ide-snap to Ubuntu Snaps

Howdy,

Following the discussion with @zyga , I wish to transfer the antigravity-ide-snap to the ubuntu-snaps account. I am currently the owner of the snap.

The code for the snap is found here: https://github.com/tingdahl/antigravity-ide-snap

There are still some tweaks to be done, and I do need the classic confinement to be approved. Hence, I want to retain the right to keep it unpublished until I think it is ready.

Howdy, is there any motion on this? I now have 3000 weekly users, and it’s growing fast. I’m ready to keep maintaining it, but I think it should go under Ubuntu’s publisher name so it’s not dependent on one person.

The code is now mature, I have been using it for daily production usage for weeks without any problems.

Hi Kristofer, there’s already https://snapcraft.io/antigravity under ubuntu-snaps.

Hi @zyga (or another admin of ubuntu-snaps), would you be able to advise please? Do you want to merge this at the code level perhaps?

Hi,

antigravity is separate from antigravity-ide(this snap) and antigravity-cli. These are three different products, with their own use-cases.

I guess it’s a little unfortunate those are three snaps. I’d love if we had antigravity, antigravity+ide and antigravity+cli but I guess that ship has sailed.

EDIT: I’m +1 to unblock this. Happy to discuss long term evolution

It is three products with different versioning, different release schedule. They can be put in one snap, but it does not make a lot of sense.
