Too slow snap downloads(Resolved)

When I am trying to download and install anything from the snap. I am getting a very slow initial download speed and after some time it cannot perform the installation. My internet is working fine.

Here is my fast.com result -

It is extremely slow when I use snap to install software. The download speed is less than 50 kb/s. Can I use proxy, especially sock5. If it is possible, please tell me how to set.

Not YOUR servers? Mate, I had to wait 45 minutes to get a confirmation email from Snapcraft.io to confirm my account so that I could write this message… 45 MINUTES to get an account confirmation email!!! No matter what I install from snap, it doesn’t go beyond 140Kbps. I have a 80MBits/s optic fiber link and I can certainly tell you that something is wrong with this snap infrastructure. Horrible performance. Is there any mirrors that can be used? Sorry if I sound pissed off, but I am pissed of…

• Where are you located, and on which ISP?
• Go to http://fastly-debug.com/ as suggested in one of the above posts.
• What sort of speeds do you get from these two commands?

@roadmr Is there some FAQ/wiki-like place this kind of information can added? The forum is great but sometimes it conveys obsolete information - and this will get worse with time.
