Thunderbird v153 latest/stable missing point release updates

Thunderbird 153 is currently at point release 153.0.3. The ESR channel has been updated to this release, but the latest/stable channel (which now provides the monthly releases) is still on 153.0.0. Will this channel also receive the point releases?

Thanks for the ping. I do not know what happened there; The builds were available and uploaded to snap-store, but not released to any channel.

I released them manually to the candidate channel for now. I’ll investigate why the automatic release failed.

Hmm the snap store is acting up, it gives

Error: There was an error while processing your request, please try again later.

after I manually release it. I’ll follow through here when this is solved.

Meanwhile you can install 153.0.3 manually with

snap refresh –revision 1213 thunderbird #x64
snap refresh –revision 1212 thunderbird #aarch64
snap refresh –revision 1221 thunderbird #risc-v

Thanks, the manual commands did not work (revision not available error), but I’ll just wait until the new releases are in the store.

Mozilla released in the meantime 154.

No. I filed Bug #2163739 “Cannot release thunderbird revisions to candidate” : Bugs : Snap Store Server.

Let’s hope 154 doesn’t get stuck as well.
