Store a tar file which will not be a part of any snap

Hi there,

Is there a way to store a tar file in uc20 image and the tar file is not a part of any snap so that snap update would not touch the tar file?

i dont think this is possible in UC20 anymore … ship the tarball in its own snap (also helps in case you ever need to update its contents) and provide a content interface that other snaps can connect to to access and use that tarball …
