Stable phone overlay - Classic Snap

Hello,

I have a basic Hello World snap running with mir-kiosk which is working fine when build and run on KVM, if I build and configure the same snap on a rPi3 running under a classic snap I get the following error

mirserver: Rejected and disconnected a client (Unsupported protocol version)

Is the stable phone overlay ppa supported within a classic snap? I had seen this issue when I hadn’t applied it on the KVM build and I am not able to build the kiosk-mir-apps snap so I suspect the overlay is not working?

So not sure how I can debug this further?

Any ideas or points would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like the stable phone overlay isn’t working inside of the classic snap, as I have just built on the rPi3 using the xenial LTS image and it works fine.
