I have seen serious connection problems in southern hemisphere (at least from my home office) with connecting to snap store (and other sites including github). Those connection problems are clearly time of day related.

I manage many operational aspects of the snap store, and I live in Melbourne. Rest assured that we’d notice and be on it pretty quickly if there were issues accessing the store from the southern hemisphere.

If you have trouble accessing both the snap store and GitHub, it sounds like your Internet connection might have some problems. But I’ll be happy to investigate from our end if you can explain exactly what store problems you were seeing (including error messages) and when.
