I’ve not tried this, but it should be possible through the Snap Store API and its store metrics call.
This raises a good point too; we should better document the different APIs and how they’re used. The Snap Store API is separate to the snapd REST API, and manages the online snap hosting store environment rather than the local daemon environment respectively. I’ll make sure we document this.
