Snap store App installed via snap looks broken on i3wm

I just freshly installed Xubuntu 18.10 on a previously empty SSD.
I tried using the gnome-software app to install snap packages which doesn’t work because it wants me to login with my snap account. But this somehow doesn’t work.

Anyways. I then installed snap store with ‘sudo snap install snap-store’ but it looks broken.

Note: I’m using i3wm as a window manager.

The console gives the following output:

why does it do that? Could you show us a screenshot of it?

I guess it’s because under i3wm the keychain manager that would be present in xfce doesn’t run maybe. Because using xfce (the one that comes with Xubuntu) everything works fine.

Specifically for GIMP, this is my fault. I’ve not taken the time to update the GIMP banner in the store to account for the new dimensions required. Because of this, the store app shows the old banner with the wrong dimensions along with text overlaid to state what the app is (GIMP).
