I maintain an unofficial Snap of Kodi-Omega and OpenPaperwork. On the same Ubuntu 26.04 system, when I open Settings → Apps → Kodi (snap kodi-omega), I can see and toggle many permissions in the GNOME Settings UI.
For OpenPaperwork, the same Settings page shows almost nothing. I can connect them manually with snap connect, and the app works, but I would like users to manage permissions from GNOME Settings → Apps, the same way they can with Kodi.
What determines which snap interfaces appear as toggles in GNOME Settings → Apps? Any clarification on how the Settings permissions panel decides what to show would be very helpful.
