Request manual review/dbus slot declaration for lamco-rdp-server (io.lamco.RdpServer, session bus)

Hi store team,

lamco-rdp-server (publisher glamberson0001, snap-id HsIGuG9HW54ojgU7zR9nKHmYuUeGHUEo) revisions 9 (amd64) and 10 (arm64), version 1.4.5, were uploaded to stable on 3 September and flagged “human review required due ot ‘deny-connection’ conswtraint (interface attributes)” .

The new attribute is a dbus slot on the session bus:

'''yaml
slots:
  rdp-server-dbus:
    interface: dbus
    bus: session
    name: io.lamco.RdpServer
'''

Purpose: The snap ships 2 apps, the RDP server (lamco-rdp-server) and its configuraiton GUI (lamco-rdp-server-gui). The GUI starts the server with ‘—debus-service’ and reconnects to it over thi session-bus name to show status and stop it. Without the slot the confined server can’t own the name (AppArmor denies ‘RequestName’), which is what broke the GUI-driven start in 1.4.4. Only the snap’s own apps use the name. No other snap connects to it. The name is in our own namespace.

Both revisions are identical apart from the architecture. Coul dyou review it, and, if acceptable, grant the declaration so the revisions can be released to stable?

Thank you.

Hey @glamberson

The requested well-known d-bus name, io.lamco.RdpServer, makes perfect sense to me for this snap. This is now live
