Request for classic confinement for protobuf-multipass

Hello @reviewers,

I have a fork of protobuf which is already approved for classic confinement. We (the Multipass project) need to use an updated protobuf version and some more control over how we want to use the package for development, hence the need to fork. We may reach out to Stuart to see how we can use the original protobuf snap, but for now we need to use this.
