If the snap is depending on NordVPN on the host and it doesn’t ship it within the snap, it falls under the unsupported classic category of:
- “dependent software only available on host (ship in instead snap (eg, stage-packages, build from source))”
In strict mode as well, there are also issues with accessing binaries on the host as the snap can then break confinement.
