Last week, I gave a talk at Perth Linux Users Group about using snaps and Ubuntu Core to put together hobby IoT projects that can keep themselves up to date in a reliable and secure fashion. The talk was recorded and the video is now online:

  • Configuring automatic builds published to the edge channel on the store.

  • Using the ubuntu-image tool to build a custom Ubuntu Core image with extra seeded snaps.
  • A demo of building an Ubuntu Core image and booting it in a VM.
