There has been a rather severe issue with the integration between Plex and Sonos.
Plex issued an update recently but the Snap is still on the older one.
Version on Snap: 1.24.5.5173-8dcc73a59
On Plex.tv: 1.25.0.5246-cb2507e4d. November 16, 2021
I am rather new to Snap and Linux but wanted to ask how often the Snaps are actually updated?

plex.tv maintains that snap themselves, you should ask in their support forum …
you can check if a snap is maintained by an upstream maintainer via snap info plexmediaserver … typically upstream maintained snaps have a little green check mark at the “publisher” entry … in such cases you should use the upstream bugtracker/forum …
