I’m a bit concerned by the last 2 messages on that thread as I sense some indifference from upstream about the snap. However, we don’t deny transfer requests on this basis and since the upstream does seem responsive, as you said yourself, you can always ask for the snap to be transferred back to you.

As there’s little technical difficulty in maintaining a command-line interface snap and I’ve already given collaboration access to the upstream for a while without issue I’m pretty confident they are able to handle it over time.
I’ve completed this transfer.
