Ncspot fails to start

Expected Behaviour

  • Install ncspot snap through store, software center, CLI, etc.
  • run snap with ncspot in terminal, launcher, etc.
  • ncspot snap starts and runs

Actual Behaviour
The snap seems to install fine via whatever method you choose but when you try to start it an error occurs.
The error message reads:

ncspot
thread 'main' panicked at 'can't create config folder: Os { code: 13, kind: PermissionDenied, message: "Permission denied" }', src/config.rs:67:9
note: run with `RUST_BACKTRACE=1` environment variable to display a backtrace
