Name dispute: blank (registered but unused) for Blank, a markdown editor, by its upstream author

Hi Snap Store team,

I’m the author and maintainer of Blank, a minimalist, keyboard-only markdown editor/writer for Linux, macOS and Windows. I’d like to request the snap name blank. It is registered, but no snap has ever been published under it: snap info blank returns “no snap found”, the snapcraft page returns 404, and the store API has no entry for it.

Description: Blank is a distraction-free markdown editor made for writing. You control it entirely from the keyboard, it autocorrects typography in 14 languages, and it exports to PDF and Word. It’s built with Tauri 2 (WebKitGTK).

Upstream:

Relationship to upstream: I am upstream. I own the GitHub repository, and I’ll publish the snap from the project’s own CI on every release. My Snapcraft publisher account has the same name as the GitHub account. I’m happy to add a verification file or commit to the repository if that helps.

Hi, we’ve revoked the existing blank snap. You should be able to register a new snap using the name blank.
