Manual review requested - skeletonid-addon-zaida (strict confinement)

Hi,

Snap name: skeletonid-addon-zaida
Revision: 4

This snap has been pending manual review since Dec 11, 2025.

It is a strictly confined worker daemon that acts as an addon for the “skeletonid” snap and is not intended to run standalone.
It communicates only with a local service provided by the main snap and consumes a content interface from it.

The snap does not expose ports, does not use classic confinement and does not communicate with external services.

Intended release channel: beta.

Could someone from the store team please take a look at the pending review?
Thanks.

Hi,

It looks like this snap got flagged as possible malware:

human review required due to detection of potentially harmful contents in snap metadata metadata-snap-v2_snap_metadata_redflag

Unfortunately I think the only folks that can help with this are the @store team - can someone from @store please take a look? Thanks

Thanks for your reply, Alex.

I’ll wait to see if someone from the @store team can help us out.

I don’t know why it has been flagged as malware. It’s a closed-source program, but if you need to take a look at something internally, we can show it to you “for your eyes only” if that solves the problem.

According to the documentation, we understand that it is possible to declare slots and plug to them automatically if they are between snaps from the same publisher. If this is a problem or we have misunderstood something, we would appreciate clarification, because our intention is to create many more add-ons for the main application and hook them up in this way.

Thank you very much and best regards!
