Manual review pending for fmd-server

Like some others ([1], [2]), the new snap for FMD Server (fmd-server) that we (the FMD maintainers, Nulide and I) submitted on 2026-01-03 is still stuck in “Manual Review”. That’s 3 weeks ago.

Is there any update, or any information on why it is taking so long?

I saw that you @verterok re-triggered the automatic review yesterday (thank you!). Unfortunately it came back to a Manual Review Requested. So while I assume that you/the Snap Store team is already aware, I still wanted to post here to:

  1. Ask for an update on the situation.
  2. Ask if there is anything I can do on my side?
  3. Confirm that I haven’t lost interest and would still like to get this snap published.

Also, there are 3 “revisions” so far. I guess that’s because we uploaded a single version (0.13.0) three times (amd64, arm64, armhf), and that shows up as separate “revisions”?

The snapcraft.yml is on GitLab. This is my first time publishing a snap, so feedback is welcome: https://gitlab.com/fmd-foss/fmd-server/-/blob/master/snapcraft.yaml

The revisions for my new snap now passed manual review, as seen on https://dashboard.snapcraft.io/snaps/fmd-server/feedback/. Thanks!

However, on https://snapcraft.io/fmd-server/settings the Snap is blocked as private because:

Your Snap is in the queue for manual review. When approved, you will receive an email, and you will be able to change the visibility of your Snap.

Is that a separate review queue for new snaps? Different from the queue for the revisions?
