Hello,

This request has been added to the queue for review by the @reviewers team.
Hello,
I just received the notification saying that my snap was reviewed and marked as “potentially malicious”, and therefore made private.
I’m genuinely confused because my application is simply a video player and doesn’t perform any harmful or unexpected actions. I would really appreciate more information about what triggered this classification, so I can understand the issue and make any necessary adjustments.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I’ve granted the use of the requested dbus slot, rerunning the automatic review sent that notification (I think). I just ping @store folks internally to check why the snap was flagged as potentially malicious
Awesome, thank you so much!
Hello @jslarraz, do you have any news from the store team regarding the review?
They said it is approved now. Did it work?
No I still have this message: “Your Snap is in the queue for manual review. When approved, you will receive an email, and you will be able to change the visibility of your Snap.”
And I can’t change the visibility to “public”
Hi,
The snap should be published now. Sorry for the delay!
It seems not working, as I still can’t change the visibility to “Public” and the manual review message is still there. Also I uploaded a new version 1.5.1 but it didn’t unlock the situation
In release details I see something that may explain why the app visibility is only private: " * human review required due to detection of potentially harmful contents in snap metadata metadata-snap-v2_snap_metadata_redflag"
However I don’t know how to fix that.
Thanks for your patience here. I think we have resolved the visibility locking issue now – you should be able to change the snap visibility now. Keep in mind that for now, the automatic scanning may still trip up your revisions while we look at that in the future.
Thank you so much Melvin, it’s working !
