As you can see in other emulators related requests we are still waiting for some clarification about if they should be supported. I hope we’ll have an answer soon
The melonds-emulator has already received automatic joystick connection support, but my other Snap packages are taking longer to receive it.
I imagine the delay is because I also submitted requests to receive automatic connection support with the bluez interface.
I could understand not having this rather obvious to me interface auto-connected if it was a general purpose emulator. But this is MAME, whose primary purpose is emulating games, which were mostly controlled by sticks, buttons, not keyboards and mice.
