Copied from Make the snap repository of Atom open access for atom-community · Issue #69 · snapcrafters/atom (github.com) due to no response.
This repository has some bugs and pull-requests that are left unattended.
As the head owner of @atom-community, I would like to request @snapcrafters to give access to this organization for the @atom-community members.
This will hopefully fix bugs and issues caused by the snap build.
Or else, if you cannot support this repository, could you archive and deprecate the repository and remove it from the snap store?
The issues that the users open in this repo or many other repositories are unfixable if we can’t change anything in this repository, so it would be better to remove it from the store. The officially supported and tested Atom that is downloadable from atom-io doesn’t have any of these issues.
