[lenovo-wwan-dpr] Changing "strict" confined snap to "classic" confined snap

I am not sure about Fedora, but on Ubuntu the snapd deb will recognise when a newer snapd snap is installed and execute that instead of itself (so-called ‘re-exec’ support in snapd). However, I do not think this is used on Fedora in which case I don’t think installing a newer snapd snap will help. @mvo can you confirm if my understanding is correct?

just to clear this up, bootstrapping/´re-exec´ newer snapd via snap does not work on fedora.

@nitin_exclusively If one needs a newer snapd version, they have to bother the maintainer mborzecki1 (see the link below). The newest version available is currently 2.58.3 :
