@ilya-fedin Another thing you can do, if you want, is submit a PR for an interface 
You can base it on the existing power-control and simply amend it with the right path, or submit a change to power-control.
The thing is I’m not on the team, just a user who volunteers.
I hope to have a PR up for a power-observe interface this week.
We are at 3 votes for and 1 vote against, so I will grant the auto-connection of hardware-observe to telegram-desktop and note that we may be able to recommend a more specific interface at a future date.
