Hello,
Requesting a dbus slot declaration for the `cinema-slate` snap.
- name: cinema-slate
- description: Cinema Slate is a professional digital clapperboard and production slate for film and video.
- snapcraft: not publicly available
- upstream: private, published by the upstream developer
- interfaces:
- `dbus-cinema-slate` (dbus, bus: session, name: `com.navideck.cinemaslate`)
- request-type: installation (and connection/auto-connection for the slot)
- reasoning: Cinema Slate is a GTK/Flutter (GApplication) desktop app whose application ID and desktop file are `com.navideck.cinemaslate`. It declares this session D-Bus slot so the app can own its well-known name for single-instance detection and desktop activation. Under strict confinement the app cannot own the app-ID name without a snap declaration. The same slot pattern is already granted for our `bt-cam` snap (`com.navideck.btcam`).
- We have separately requested auto-connection of `bluez` and `location-observe` (topic 52427).
- Revision 1 (1.1.0) is currently held for manual review. Could you grant allow-installation and allow-connection/allow-auto-connection for this slot, and approve the pending revision?
Thank you.
