How to install snap on kali nethunter rootless

If kali linux is not a live environment and is actually installed, you can try the instructions here: https://snapcraft.io/docs/installing-snap-on-kali. I’m not familiar with Kali nethunter rootless, how is it different from a normal Kali Linux installation?

@ijohnson I get following error when running systemctl start snapd

System has not been booted with systemd as init system (PID 1). Can't operate.
Failed to connect to bus: Host is down

Hmm this sounds like the same problem that WSL had when systemd was running there, perhaps those instructions could be of some help to you: Running Snaps on WSL2 (Insiders only for now)

Afaik Kali nethunter is an android app that runs a linux container on top of an android install … even if you get systemd to work on this there will likely be lots of other issues (kernel etc) ahead.

@ogra, @ijohnson I think I installed it from full kali linux image file which is a single file and have some difference with installations like Userland and Anlinux . I get following result when running snap version,

snap version
snap 2.42.1-1
snapd unavailable
