This is a revision on the graphics-core22 interface, supplying userspace drivers for GPU use, graphical or compute: It’s documented here: Snaps using it need a default-provider: mesa-2404, so this auto-connection is necessary to reduce friction. The reasoning for the previous mesa-2404 and mesa-2204 auto-connections still holds here, this is a clear +1 (#voteFor) from me for granting global auto-connection for mesa-2604:gpu-2604.

Just to avoid any possible confusion, the interface name in your request is listed as gpu-2404 instead of gpu-2604, could you please edit the post to reflect the correct name? Thanks!

As @elisehdy already said, same reasons as for previous revisions still apply. Thus, this sounds perfectly reasonable to me (#voteFor).

+2 for, 0 against granting mesa-2604 global auto-connection to the gpu-2604 content slot. The publisher is vetted. This is now live.

Next revision will be blocked by review-tools as globally auto-connected content slots exposing binaries or libraries require a override. I’ll add to review-tools but won’t be live until a new release is deployed in the store backend.

In the meantime feel free to ping me or other reviewers to get this manually reviewed and approved.
